What actually stays private?

Your phone is always with you, and so are the group chat, the story, yesterday's photo. This is about what happens online, what it does to people offline and how you decide for yourself what you share.

Three thoughts

A heart next to two names takes a second to post. You can't take it back.

Read and no reply usually means: busy right now. Your head turns it into a story anyway.

Whatever you forward becomes a little bit yours too.

Between the chat and the schoolyard

A sentence in a chat sounds different from the same sentence said to your face. Misunderstandings happen faster, and so do rumors. That's no reason to throw your phone away, but it's a good reason to think for a second before you type.

Your pictures, your call

Photos of you belong to you. Photos of other people belong to them too. Asking before you post is never wrong. If someone posts you without asking, you can ask for it to be taken down.

Something to try, no obligation

Next time you're about to forward something about someone: would you say it to their face?

All stories

A question to take with you

When did you last forward something and think about it again afterward?

Online and offline aren't two worlds. It's the same people.
